Render of a ring with a flat round top carrying an interlaced monogram.

In Morcano Studio you can put a logo or monogram on a flat top face of the ring, or repeat your own SVG across the band. The studio checks the file before you download it, so you can print it on a home FDM printer.

How to put a logo on a ring

  1. Choose where it goes

On a flat top face, or as an SVG pattern across the band.

  2. Add the logo

The band pattern takes your own SVG made of filled shapes.

  3. Set the size

Choose a standard ring size. The studio sets the exact inner diameter.

  4. Check and export

Read the status card, then download 3MF or STL.

  5. Print

Use a home FDM printer, standard PLA and a 0.4 mm nozzle.

Tip.Under the Terms, logos you upload remain yours, and you are responsible for holding the necessary rights, in particular before selling a ring that carries them.

The free plan gives 3 designs a month on each generator. Paid plans are on the plans page.

Questions

Can I use my company logo?

Yes, as a logo on the flat top or as an SVG pattern across the band. You must hold the rights to the logo. Under the Terms, logos you upload remain yours, and you are responsible for having the necessary rights, in particular before selling a ring that carries them.

Which file format does the logo need?

The band pattern takes your own SVG made of filled shapes.

Do I need 3D design experience?

No. You work with a handful of controls: profile, size, width, text, pattern and platform. You never touch raw geometry.

How do I know the file will print?

Every export is checked before it downloads: watertight geometry, a single shell and sufficient wall thickness. If a setting will not hold up, the studio tells you which one to change.

Can I put a 3D object on the ring instead of a flat logo?

In beta, yes. You upload an STL, place it on the platform, and the studio merges ring, platform and object into one watertight body that prints as a single piece.

Licence

On the Free and Maker plans you may print your designs for yourself and as gifts, not for sale. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence and a licence certificate for each design. Pieces made during the free beta, before paid plans launched, may still be sold on the terms of that time. The exported files themselves can never be resold or redistributed, on any plan.
