Make a custom door hanger sign to 3D print.
6 shapes, 5 hole types, up to 3 colours, batches.

The Door Hangers generator makes a sign that hangs on a door handle or knob: up to three lines of text, a small line at the foot, a logo, and a pattern behind them. The text and logo are inlaid or raised in a second colour, the pattern in a third. For a hotel floor or an office, one design takes a list of room names or numbers as a batch.

How to make a door hanger
Pick shape and hole
Width 60 to 130 mm, height 120 to 240 mm; a hole for a lever or a knob, 24 to 70 mm across.
Write the text
Up to three lines (letter height 6 to 30 mm), left or centred, and a small line at the foot.
Add a logo and pattern
Your logo SVG above or below the text; a library pattern or your own SVG behind.
Choose the finish
Inlaid (flat) or raised 0.4 to 2 mm; optional border line.
One or many
Export one sign, or paste a list of rows to make a whole set as a batch.
What you can change
- Thickness
- 2.8 to 5 mm; colour depth 0.4 to 1.2 mm.
- Pattern
- Rays, swirl, ripples, waves, zebra, blobs, scales, stripes, dots, hearts, flowers, checker, terrazzo, or your own SVG.
- Colours
- Up to 3: sign, text and logo, pattern.
Printing tips
The 3MF keeps each colour as its own object, so a printer with automatic filament changes (such as a Bambu Lab AMS) prints it in one go. With one colour, print every object in the same filament.

Questions
Can I make a sign for every room at once?
Yes. Paste the list of rooms or names; each row can have its own text lines and logo. A batch holds up to 200 pieces.
Will it fit a lever handle and a knob?
Pick the hole type: round, square, slit, hook or keyhole, and set its size.
Can I add my hotel's logo?
Yes, as an SVG. You must hold the rights to the logo.
What file do I get?
A 3MF, which keeps each colour as its own object for a multi-colour printer, or an STL. Every file is checked before it downloads: closed (watertight) geometry, a single shell and walls thick enough to print.
Is it free?
The free plan gives 3 designs a month on each generator. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence.
Licence
On the Free and Maker plans you may print your designs for yourself and as gifts, not for sale. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence and a licence certificate for each design. Pieces made during the free beta, before paid plans launched, may still be sold on the terms of that time. The exported files themselves can never be resold or redistributed, on any plan.
This is a summary. Read Can I sell rings I 3D print with Morcano? and the Terms, which are the authoritative text.
